Estimated Delivery Times

In-Stock Items

Items currently in stock can be delivered within 1-2 weeks. For white-glove delivery, our team will contact you to schedule an appointment.

European Stock — Air Freight

Items in stock overseas ship within 2 weeks and are typically delivered within 3-4 weeks.

European Stock — Ocean Freight

Ocean freight shipments are consolidated approximately once per month, so even in-stock items may take 3 months or more. Items are shipped together in containers; individual shipping requests incur significant additional costs.

Arrival schedules may change due to weather, geopolitical events, or carrier circumstances.

Made to Order

We place a custom production order with the manufacturer per your specifications. Furniture takes 6+ months; lighting takes 3+ months. Production delays may occur, and exact timelines cannot be confirmed until production is complete.

We recommend ordering well in advance.

Shipping Costs & Additional Fees

Depending on the product, free shipping or freight charges may apply. International shipments include shipping costs in the price.

Even with free shipping, additional fees may apply in the following cases:

  • Remote or hard-to-reach areas
  • Elevator unavailable (stair carry required)
  • Additional personnel needed due to product size
  • Special equipment or installation required

Carriers: Deliveries are made via DHL, FedEx, specialized furniture delivery services, or white-glove installers. Tracking is available, and you will be notified by email once shipped.

Storage Service

Free storage for up to 1 month from the date of arrival at our warehouse. After that, a monthly storage fee applies per item.

Additional Fees & Payment Info

Possible Additional Fees

Prices for made-to-order and European stock items include product cost, shipping, and an import service fee of approx. 10%. If the manufacturer raises prices or local transport costs change, we may notify you of additional fees. If you prefer not to pay the additional fee, a full refund is available.

Duties & Taxes

All applicable duties and taxes are included in the final price. No additional taxes will be charged.

Wire Transfer

Wire transfer payments receive a 3% additional discount. Please contact our customer service if you prefer this option.

What is Split Payment?

Split Payment is a payment method for made-to-order items with longer delivery times, where you pay in two installments: a deposit and a balance.

You can place your order by paying 50% of the total as a deposit, reducing your upfront cost.

Most of the deposit is used to place the actual production order with the manufacturer, so you can purchase high-value items with greater confidence.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the product ships from Europe. We will notify you when production nears completion.

If the balance payment is delayed, delivery may also be delayed.

If spare parts are listed on our site, they can be purchased. Parts not listed on the site are unfortunately not available for individual purchase.

Material Quality Standards — Non-Returnable Cases

  • Product conditions not classified as defects by the overseas manufacturer are not eligible for exchange or refund.
    Example: Handmade glass shades like the Louis Poulsen PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp may have slight irregularities in joints or finish due to hand-blown production.
  • Product colors may appear differently depending on your screen settings. Color differences due to display settings are not eligible for exchange or refund.
  • Natural wood, leather, and fabric may vary in color and grain from piece to piece, and are not eligible for exchange or refund.
  • Manufacturers may update products at any time, and minor option changes do not qualify for exchange or refund.

1. Wood (Solid Wood)

  • Natural characteristics of solid wood products are not grounds for exchange or refund.
  • Natural knots and color tone variations may occur.
  • Solid wood may expand or contract depending on environment and season, potentially causing cracking, warping, or discoloration.
  • Laminated wood products may have non-uniform patterns and varied grain.
  • Smoked wood finishes may show significant color variation.
  • Depending on the product, cracking, chipping, or color changes may occur.

2. Steel (Metal)

  • Manufacturing characteristics of metal products are not grounds for exchange or refund.
  • Minor scratches may occur during cutting and welding processes.
  • Powder-coated surfaces may have slight unevenness.
  • Brass finishes may develop oxidation over time.

3. Leather

  • Natural characteristics of genuine leather are not grounds for exchange or refund.
  • Genuine leather may have inconsistent patterns or color tone variations.
  • Insect marks, scratches, and other natural marks are inherent to genuine leather.
  • Natural wrinkles and color changes from use are not product defects.

4. Fabric

  • Natural fabric characteristics are not grounds for exchange or refund.
  • Pilling on natural fabric is not considered a defect.
  • When ordering multiples of the same fabric, all items must be ordered together to ensure color matching. Later purchases may show color differences.
  • Rugs may shed fibers, which is not considered a defect.

5. Marble

  • Natural marble has inconsistent patterns and colors by nature.
  • It is not possible to select the exact marble pattern shown in photos.
  • Surface unevenness may occur due to natural marble veining.
  • Minor scratches may occur during fabrication.

6. Paper Cord & Cane

  • Natural paper cord and cane are handmade, so weaving may be uneven with some visible joins.

7. Plastic

  • Scratches may occur during production, and color finishing may not be 100% complete during assembly.
  • Plastic materials may have slightly rough finishing due to the manufacturing process.

Return & Refund Policy

Return and refund policies vary depending on the product type.

  • Made-to-Order / European Stock

Cancellations, refunds, or option changes are not possible after 7 days from the order date.

For made-to-order and European stock items imported at your request, if you request a cancellation, return, or refund for reasons covered by our stated production, shipping, or quality policies, round-trip shipping costs and a cancellation fee (30% of total payment) will be deducted from the refund.

Orders can be canceled immediately before shipping. After shipping, returns for change of mind are accepted within 7 days of receipt, with the customer responsible for round-trip return shipping costs.

First, check your account for multiple tracking numbers. Even a single product may ship in two or more boxes depending on size and components.

If components are missing and you only have one tracking number, please provide the information below within 3 days of delivery. We will guide you through the return process and issue a 100% refund after inspection. TRDST purchases from certified authorized dealers, ensuring 100% authentic products.

Installation & Assembly

White-glove delivery and assembly included for: Sofas, tables, shelving, and other items requiring assembly.

Not included: Small furniture/accessories not requiring installation, lighting (specialist electrician may be needed), and items requiring special equipment or wall mounting.

Lighting Products — Pre-Purchase Checklist

  1. European lighting fixtures use 220-240V. You may need a voltage converter or compatible wiring for US 120V systems. Please consult a licensed electrician before installation.
  2. Manufacturers may not include mounting hooks (J-hooks) or brackets with the product. This is not a missing component. Compatible hardware may need to be purchased locally.
  3. Please check whether bulbs are included. The most common socket types are E26/E27 (interchangeable). If a proprietary bulb is required, it must be purchased separately or the fixture may not function.
  4. For pendant and ceiling fixtures, professional installation by a licensed electrician is strongly recommended.
